Raphael Webscapes, 2008 to present. Part-time web developer with focus on content management systems and search engine optimization.
Friends General Conference, 1998-2006. Webmaster & Technical Communications Manager: designed and maintained five company websites. Managed bulk email and related Internet communications. Wrote detailed annual website reports, tracked online references and search engine visibility. Other responsibilities included publicity for member organizations.
Friends Journal, 2001-2003. Web Manager. Put together sample article in each issue, marketed the site. Wrote biannual reports.
World Game Institute, 1997-98. Webmaster. Pulled together site, created javascript-powered "worldometers" and other graphic representations of world economic indicators.
New Society Publishers, 1990-96. Acquisitions Editor, Production Co-Manager. Also worked as Direct Mail Manager.
Independent Publications
QuakerQuaker.org, 2006-present. Cutting-edge aggregator and social networking site. Integrates nine "Web 2.0" services including Del.icio.us, Flickr, Feedburner, etc. The site provides 17 RSS feeds, daily email subscriptions and cut-and-paste javascript widgets for inclusion in personal blogs.
Nonviolence.Org, 1995-present. A peace advocacy website, provided first websites for over a dozen U.S.-based groups including the Fellowship of Reconciliation, War Resisters League and Pax Christi USA.
