In the early 1990s I worked with New Society Publishers, a Philadelphia-based book publisher dedicated to producing books on nonviolent social change. In 1995 I moved the work online with Nonviolence.org (read more), a groundbreaking website that was a pioneer in the kind of online community organizing we now call social media.
